Working from Hyderabad, wherever you are
The office is in Ramanthapur, Hyderabad, but very little of the work requires you to be in the office. Income tax assessment and penalty proceedings are largely faceless, hearings are frequently by video conferencing, and documents move electronically. Clients across India and non-residents abroad are served on that basis as a matter of routine, not as an exception.
Enquiry
Send a message
The more specific the first message, the more useful the first reply. If a notice or an order is involved, say which section or form it is issued under and the date on it.
Before you send anything
- Do send the notice, order or intimation itself — the document decides what the answer is, and a description of it rarely does.
- Do say the date it was served on you, not only the date printed on it. Limitation usually runs from the first.
- Do not send passwords or one-time passwords. They are never needed to give you a view on a matter, and no one from this firm will ask for them by email or message.
- Do not send Aadhaar, bank statements, your e-filing or GST portal credentials, or anything else sensitive in a first message. Once the matter is understood a secure route is arranged for documents — and where portal access is needed, it is given by adding this firm as your authorised representative rather than by sharing a password.
What happens next
After you write
- 01
Messages are read by the proprietor
Not by an assistant, and not by a shared inbox. Enquiries received outside office hours are seen on the next working morning.
- 02
You will be told whether it is work for this firm
Where a matter belongs with an advocate, a valuer or another specialist, that is said at the outset rather than after an engagement has begun.
- 03
Scope and fees are settled in writing
Before any work starts, what will be done and the basis of professional fees are agreed in writing. Fee rates are not published here.
